Tell us about the beginning of your interest in darts. I WAS DRUNK AND CONNED INTO PLAYING WITH A GROUP OF MY FELLOW APARTMENT DWELLERS. TWO WEEKS LATER, I AM IN A LEAGUE AND PLAYING. THAT WAS ALMOST 25 YEARS AGO.

How far from home do you play? 13 MILES.
How many days per week do you engage in darts? 3
What kind of darts do you use: weight/ brand? I USE A FIXED POINT AT 26 GRAMS
What is the most annoying antic you see from other dart players?
WATCHING TV OR TALKING ON A CELL PHONE OR NOT TOTALLY CONCENTRATING ON THE GAME.
Tell us about conflicts darts create in home or work life? NONE
What goals in darts do you have? MY ONLY GOAL WAS TO BE COMPETITIVE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL AND I ACCOMPLISHED THAT MANY YEARS AGO.
What has been your best moment in darts? BEATING DAVE TERRELL IN 1988 TO GO ON AND PLACE SECOND IN THE MONDAY/GOLD SINGLES
What’s your advice to a newbie dart player? PRACTICE AND LISTEN TO A WISE DART PLAYER
What would make your league better and more fun? PERHAPS KEEPING ONGOING STATS LIKE SOFT TIP DOES SO A PLAYER CAN GET A RANKING AND THE TEAMS CAN BE MORE COMPETITIVE INSTEAD OF SOME TEAMS STACKING UP.
What does the sport need to help it grow/ improve its image? MORE PARITY IN THE LEAGUES SO WE CAN AVOID BLOWOUTS.
How far would you travel to see national championship playoffs? I AM RETIRED, I HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD.
